Use the email address above for privacy questions or to exercise data protection rights. Where a data protection officer or an EU/EEA representative is legally required for a specific operation, the applicable contact details will be provided in the relevant notice or business documentation.

3. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • Identity and contact data, such as name, company, business role, country, email address, telephone number and WhatsApp details.

  • Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring page and security logs.
  • Communication and preference data, such as correspondence, language, consent status and marketing preferences.
  • Public business information or contact details received from an employer, dealer, distributor, service partner or public professional source.

Please do not submit special-category data or information that is not necessary for your business request.

4. How We Obtain Personal Data

We obtain personal data directly from you when you browse the site, submit a form, request a quotation, contact us or correspond with our team. We may also receive business contact data from your employer, an authorized Yuli dealer or service partner, event organizers, logistics or payment providers, and lawful public business sources.

5. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process personal data only where a lawful basis applies:

  • Inquiries, quotations and contracts: to answer requests, recommend equipment, prepare quotations, take steps before a contract and perform a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Customer, dealer and service support: to manage business relationships, delivery, warranty, parts and technical support under Article 6(1)(b) and, where appropriate, Article 6(1)(f).
  • Website operation and security: to deliver pages, prevent misuse, diagnose faults, maintain logs and protect systems under Article 6(1)(f). Our legitimate interests are operating a secure business website and protecting customers, users and our organization.
  • Legal and compliance obligations: to maintain records, respond to authorities and meet tax, accounting, product-safety or other legal duties under Article 6(1)(c).
  • Optional communications and non-essential technologies: where required, on the basis of consent under Article 6(1)(a). Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
  • Legal claims and fraud prevention: where necessary for legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) or a legal obligation.

When we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity of the processing and balance those interests against your rights and reasonable expectations.

6. Cookies and Third-Party Resources

The website may use technically necessary cookies or similar storage for security, sessions and core functions. Non-essential cookies or similar technologies will be used only where a valid legal basis exists and consent is obtained when required. The site may load fonts, icons or front-end libraries from external content-delivery providers; those providers may receive request metadata such as IP address, browser information and the requested resource. See our Cookie Policy for additional information and available controls.

7. Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data may be disclosed only as necessary to:

We do not sell personal data.

8. International Transfers

The controller is located in China. If you access the site from the EU/EEA, United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, information submitted to us may be transferred to and processed in China or in another country outside your location. Where GDPR Chapter V applies, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism appropriate to the transfer, which may include an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules where available, or a permitted derogation for a specific situation. Supplementary technical and organizational safeguards will be used where required. You may contact us for information about the mechanism relevant to your data and how to obtain a copy of applicable safeguards.

9. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose collected and applicable legal requirements. The following criteria normally apply:

  • website inquiries and quotations: while the request is handled and, if no business relationship follows, normally no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful interaction;
  • customer, order, warranty, accounting and tax records: for the relationship and the period required by applicable law or needed for legal claims;
  • security and technical logs: normally up to 90 days unless an incident requires longer preservation;
  • consent and objection records: for as long as needed to demonstrate the preference and comply with the request; and
  • privacy-rights requests: for the time needed to respond and keep an appropriate compliance record.

Data may be retained longer when required by law, a regulatory request, litigation hold or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

10. Security

We use proportionate technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access. Measures may include access controls, least-privilege administration, transport encryption, backups, logging, software maintenance and confidentiality obligations. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

11. Your Data Protection Rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • receive clear information about processing;
  • access personal data and obtain a copy;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure;
  • restrict processing;
  • receive data in a portable, machine-readable format where applicable;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests and object at any time to direct marketing;
  • withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing; and
  • not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects, where that right applies.

12. Exercising Your Rights

Send a request to demi@yulilift.com and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may ask for limited information needed to verify identity and protect data from unauthorized disclosure. We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month, subject to any lawful extension for a complex or numerous request. Rights requests are normally free of charge; applicable law permits a reasonable fee or refusal for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.

13. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU/EEA country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. A directory of European supervisory authorities is available through the European Data Protection Board. You also retain the right to seek a judicial remedy where applicable.

14. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use personal data collected through this website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects. If this changes, we will provide the information required by applicable law before the processing begins.

15. Required Information

You are not legally required to browse the public website or submit a general inquiry. Fields marked as required are necessary for us to identify and answer the request or take steps toward a quotation or contract. If required information is not provided, we may be unable to respond, prepare a quotation or provide the requested service.

16. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal data from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

17. External Links

The website may link to services operated by dealers, social networks, messaging providers or other third parties. Those parties are responsible for their own processing and privacy notices. Review their terms before providing personal data.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services, processing activities or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and material changes will be highlighted or otherwise communicated when required.
